‘I became known as the fat cricketer’: England hero Flintoff reveals struggles with bulimia – Fox Sports
Andrew Flintoff has become the latest former England star to reveal he suffered severe mental health problems during his playing career.
Several past players, including Jonathan Trott and Marcus Trescothick, have spoken publicly about their experiences with depression and other mental health issues.
And now Flintoff, who is arguably the most widely-recognisable player in the world of his generation, has made a documentary with the BBC about how he struggled with bulimia.
The documentary, which airs on Monday night in the UK, sees Flintoff explain that he has been battling the disease for more than half of his life.
