Hyundai’s Kona Electric has set a new range record for distance driven on one charge of a 64kWh battery.
Three of the SUVs tested at Lausitzrin in Germany and each of the unmodified factory-spec vehicles managed to exceed 1,000km of distance driven on a single charge of the battery.
Each drove travelled 1,018.7, 1,024.1 and 1,026.0 kilometres, with power consumption figures of 6.28, 6.25 and 6.24kWh per 100 km respectively. Thats well below the standard value of 14.7kWh per 100km determined …
