HyperOne, a new startup from Bevan Slattery, has revealed plans to spend $1.5 billion building a private Australia-wide fibre backbone with interconnection points for new subsea cables.
The massive project and investment was unveiled in the early hours of Thursday, and is described as “the largest private digital infrastructure project in Australia’s history”.
