Huntsman home invasions triggered by weather, spider expert says, and they’ll eat each other rather than you
A spate of huntsman spider infestations reported in Sydney this week may be in response to recent changes in the weather, according to a renowned arachnologist at Queensland Museum.

On the evening of Australia Day, Darren Saunders from the Sydney beachside suburb of Maroubra felt something crawling over him in the dark.
The next night, he arrived home to discover hundreds of tiny huntsman spiders on his bedroom ceiling.
