Two weeks ago the Packed to the Rafters star delighted fans when he got down on one knee and popped the question during his Hughman show at Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The 35-year-old actor revealed that he recently learnt his father Denis Sheridan, 76, is battling a terminal illness.
