Hugh Sheridan has paid tribute to his father Denis in a heartfelt Instagram post after his death from cancer aged 76.
The Adelaide swing singer died on Monday after a battle with terminal cancer.
His actor son wrote, be free papa as he took to Instagram to announce the death of his father alongside a poem by W H Auden.
The poem is titled Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone.
He was my North, my South, my East and West, a section of the poem reads.
