Huge injury setback for young Melbourne forward – SEN
Another big blow for the Demons inside 50.
Melbourne key forward Sam Weideman has suffered a cruel injury blow, suffering a stress fracture in his right leg.
He will miss 10 to 12 weeks with the injury, compounding the Demons forward line woes.
Weideman joins Ben Brown on the sidelines, with the latter undergoing knee surgery last week.
Melbourne GM of Football Alan Richardson outlined where Weideman sits.
Its disappointing news for Sam who has had a great pre-season to date, Richardson told the clubs website.
