Huawei’s Mate X foldable phone successor may look a lot like the Samsung Galaxy Fold – TechRadar

The Huawei Mate X is pretty distinct as foldable phones go because it’s the only one which folds down with the main screen on the outside, as most close in on their primary displays. Well, it seems the phone’s successor may forgo this design.
This comes from Ross Young, an analyst and leaker who frequently comments on phone displays, and who tweeted some information on what he calls the ‘Mate X2’. According to Young, the phone will have an in-folding screen with parts from Samsung and BOE.
