Bank lobbyists secured exemptions for hundreds of job functions before the state was locked down, leaving other industries squealing about the lack of consultation.
It also includes a great many other roles required for a properly functioning banking system, including credit approvals, financial markets functions, payroll processing, the operation of a branch network and fraud detection.
