How premiership player went west on ‘Fremantle’s dollar’ before landing at arch rivals
Premiership player Xavier Ellis has revealed how West Coast swooped in on his impending move to their arch rivals.
Ellis departed the Hawks at the end of the 2013 season as a free agent, joining the Eagles to extend his AFL career.
But it was a trip west fully funded by Fremantle that brought about any such deal.
