How low can Manly go? Dragons pile pain on Des’ winless Sea Eagles – Sydney Morning Herald
Not since 2009 have the Sea Eagles started a season so poorly. They’re almost shoo-ins to equal that record when Penrith arrive in town next week.

Des Hasler promised Manly will fight their way out of an abysmal start to the season and worst in over a decade after the Sea Eagles plunged to a heavy 38-12 defeat to a Corey Norman-inspired St George Illawarra.
Hasler, who only inked a contract extension laced with performance clauses less than a fortnight ago, watched his winless team plunge to a third straight defeat, rivalling the four-game losing sequence in which they began the 2009 campaign.
