How It’s A Sin writer Russell T. Davies drew on his own life for powerful new drama series – Nine

British script writer Russell T. Davies echoes the spread of the current COVID-19 crisis to another frightening virus in the ’80s HIV.
The acclaimed writer of such dramas as Queer as Folk, about gay friends in Manchester, as well as Doctor Who, has penned another powerful and touching five-parter called It’s A Sin (showing on Stan from January 23) focusing on three young lads discovering and experimenting with their sexuality.
