It turns out that moving on from Google is much, much easier than you might expect. A couple of clicks in your browser, changing your search engine to the privacy-oriented DuckDuckGo or the tree-planting Ecosia or to some other engine, and youre out of the matrix for good.
I cant speak to Ecosia, other than to point out that (at the time of writing) it claims to have planted almost 120 million trees with the revenue it has generated from its search engine, but I can tell you that DuckDuckGo…
