How Harry Kewell convinced Mark Milligan to put off retirement – Sydney Morning Herald
Mark Milligan thought about hanging his boots up before a conversation with Socceroo great Harry Kewell convinced him to play for as long as possible.
“I spoke to Harry quite a bit over in the UK. There were a few jobs he was going for recently that I had been fortunate enough to speak to him about and possibly becoming a part of,” Milligan said.
“Harry has a lot of advice and experience with his body and how it worked for him. One of the main things said to me was that while I still doing this and still very much able to, I should definitely be doing it.”
