Carlton president Mark LoGiudice will step down at the conclusion of the 2021 season after 12 years on the board and eight years at the helm.
The decision was confirmed on Tuesday morning, with club director Luke Sayers set to take over the distinguished role.
Judging LoGiudices time at the top at Princes Park is a difficult one, with the club undergoing a total rebuild in that time, hitting the draft hard and ultimately not having any success on the field.
