Telegraph readers can have their pets scientifically ‘rated’ to see how cute they really are…

The scale asks student respondents to rate the animal images from not cute at all (the least cutest thing I have EVER seen) to “very cute (the cutest thing I have EVER seen).
They can then add additional descriptors for how the animal makes them feel such as relaxed, joyous, disgusted, annoyed.
The selection of images was then narrowed down to 45 of the cutest animals – enough to fill a five-minute micro-work break.
