Houses destroyed as lightning strikes spark new fires amid Victorian heatwave
Grassfires sparked by lightning destroyed at least two homes in Victoria’s north west overnight, the Premier Jacinta Allen has confirmed this morning.
Forest Fire Management Victoria said more than 8,000 lightning strikes were recorded across the state on Sunday.
