House party in Sydney’s Castle Hill invaded by masked men with weapons, police suspect gang activity

Police are hunting several men who invaded a house party in masks, leaving two teenagers with serious injuries in Sydney’s north-west.
Several males, armed with a knife, gun, hammer and an axe, were seen on security camera footage entering a home in Castle Hill just after midnight today.
The house was a short-term rental accommodation being used by a group of people who were having a party.
Police said the masked men threatened six people inside and an 18-year-old man was stabbed several times in the stomach.
Another 17-year-old male was hit over the head with a hammer in the backyard of the property.
Neighbour Sophie Hyne said she could not sleep after hearing swearing and loud noises coming from the house.
