Hotel quarantine, not NSW, most likely source of COVID-19 variant – Sydney Morning Herald
Health authorities have cast doubt on whether a Victorian family contracted COVID-19 while holidaying in NSW.
On Saturday Professor Lewin noted there had been extensive testing in the Jervis Bay Area and no further case[s] found, though she did not rule it out as a possibility.
There was a total of 19,403 tests conducted in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday – compared with the previous days total of 22,583. NSW Health administered 14,977 vaccines on Friday, with the total number of vaccines administered in NSW now 1,460,294.
