The Morrison government will be hoping its COVID-19 vaccination program will lift a gear with its home-made AstraZeneca doses now in the mix.
As of Friday, Australia hit a milestone of 500,000 jabs although this was well short of the four million the government had predicted just a few months ago.
The first of 50 million CSL-made AstraZeneca doses have now been distributed, Health Minister Greg Hunt said.
