Hockeyroos stars Georgie Morgan and Rachael Lynch win appeal over axing from Olympics team
An independent panel has upheld appeals lodged by two former Hockeyroo players over their non-selection in the Tokyo Olympic squad but it is not yet clear whether the players will be able to join next week’s crucial training camp in Darwin.

- The duo were dropped from the squad in December
- Since then, Hockeyroos head coach Paul Gaudoin and two other members of the selection panel have resigned
- New head coach Katrina Powell, who has been in the role for only 15 days, says Morgan and Lynch will be provided the opportunity to play for selection
