Hidden issue to blame for Ricciardo ‘struggle’ on McLaren debut – Fox Sports
Daniel Ricciardo’s struggles in his first race at McLaren can be attributed to damage his car sustained at the Bahrain Grand Prix, his team has revealed.

The Australian narrowly beat new teammate Lando Norris to sixth on the grid, but was overtaken on Lap 1 in Sundays race and eventually finished seventh; three spots behind the Briton.
After the race, Ricciardo said he was happy with the swift progress he has made at McLaren, but conceded he will need to make significant improvements on race day to start competing for podiums again.
