Incoming Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett is walking into a “snake pit” as Canterbury’s factions are split over the direction of the club.
Barrett, currently an assistant at Penrith, is set to replace Dean Pay as head coach of the Bulldogs for the 2021 season.
The team he is taking charge of has won just two games all year and is staring at a wooden spoon.
