Without Joel Embiid, it was Philadelphias second superstar, Ben Simmons, who exploded on Tuesday (AEDT) with a career-best performance despite a 76ers loss against the NBA-leading Utah Jazz.
In a match-up between the Eastern and Western Conferences No. 1 seeds, Simmons went for 19 first quarter points the most hes ever had in a quarter on his way to a career-best 42.
But it wasnt to be for the Sixers (18-10), who fell 134-123 to the Jazz (23-5).
