‘He’s had a lot of stuff going on’: Hawks skipper reveals personal turmoil behind Scully’s shock call
New Hawthorn captain Ben McEvoy has paid tribute to outgoing teammate Tom Scully after his shock retirement decision, saying the aerobic beast gave 11 years of great service to the AFL industry.
Scully, the 2009 No. 1 draft pick, on Tuesday announced hed played his last AFL game, effective immediately.
The 29-year-old informed his teammates of his decision before the news was made public.
