Were bringing you live Splendour memories during the weekend the Byron festival wouldve been happening.
Since back in 2001, every July weve had a standing date with Splendour in the Grass
And this year is no different!
Although, practically speaking, yeah…its gonna actually have to be different. So were putting the grass on hold for a year and taking it to the past.
You wont be getting just one line-up to soundtrack your best life, youll get em all! And youll be able to design your own bespoke festival experience, all from the comfort of home (or discomfort if you wanna fully commit and dump mud in your kitchen).
Across the weekend of the 25th and 26th, well be bringing you a selection of the best tracks and moments from across the years. Were going through the archives and reliving iconic performances by Childish Gambino, Gang of Youths, Bloc Party, Lana Del Rey, Vampire Weekend, Florence + The Machine, HAIM, Violent Soho, Thelma Plum, Stormzy and heaps more.
Plus, well be going full AAA with replays of all the backstage action. Like, remember when a local grandma had to stitch up Kanyes pants? Or when 16-year-old Lorde got the call to replace Frank Ocean? Well, we do 🙂 And weve got the audio to prove it.
