I ask my patients: Are you going to take the vaccine?
“Yeah, but I don’t know what’s in it.”
“Sjoe, if you can survive a boerwors roll on Long street, don’t worry about the vaccine.”
“My cousin took the injection in England. She said don’t believe those stories. She has diabetes and she’s been ok so far. All her friends took it too.”
