As coaches we were talking about him pre-game, having a look at him. There were a couple of times where we had match-ups but our system, he ended up on a small … he makes the most of it. I thought he was the best player on the ground.
Franklins haul brings him to 966 in his career ever-closer to the magical 1000-goal milestone, which he would no doubt hit much sooner if he wasnt so unselfish. But the way Buddy is moving, its a sheer inevitability, and the wait will be entertaining nonetheless.
