The pair will have to complete COVID-19 testing in order to gain exemptions to play in Adelaide after being with the Australian squad for the past four Vodafone Test matches against India.
The BBL Technical Committee today approved their inclusion in the Heat squad, with local replacement players Simon Milenko and Jack Wood exiting the squad in turn.
The Heat will finalise their final 13 prior to the bat flip.
Brisbane lost by 59 runs to the Perth Scorchers in Melbourne last night and travelled to Adelaide today.
