Health director resigns to wed top developer

One of Queensland’s top developers is hoping it will be third time lucky when he weds his fiance, a former top director at the Cairns Hospital.

Consolidated Properties boss Don O’Rorke popped the question to Katie McMillan earlier this year after the couple met by chance while on safari in Africa with their respective kids two years ago.

Ms McMillan resigned from her position as Director for Speech Pathology at the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service this month.
