‘He was fighting for his life’: Mal Meninga defends Titans skipper Kevin Proctor over bite – Fox Sports
Titans head of performance and culture Mal Meninga believes Kevin Proctor was fighting for his life when he bit Sharks playmaker Shaun Johnson’s arm.

The Titans skippers season could be prematurely after he was referred straight to the judiciary for being sent off for biting Johnson in the Titans 30-18 loss to Cronulla.
However Meninga believes Proctor became panicked with Johnsons arm around his throat and his decision to bite was a reflex in self defence.
