Essendon legend Tim Watson has accused the AFL of flinching and snubbing footy fans after it denied the Bombers request to move its Round 1 clash to a different venue.
The AFL on Tuesday shot down any possibility of Essendons Round 1 clash against Hawthorn on March 25 being moved from Marvel Stadium to the MCG.
The Bombers requested the match to be moved in order to maximise fan attendance. Almost 29,000 patrons will only be allowed to attend the Bombers-Hawks game at Marvel Stadium under the 50…
