‘He is a standout’: Fittler knows Suaalii is ready for NRL – Sydney Morning Herald
Joseph Suaalii was a no-show at the Emerging Blues camp on Saturday, but will not disappoint if thrust into the NRL at just 17, according to Brad Fittler.

Suaalii is not allowed to make his NRL debut until he turns 18 in August, but the Roosters are set to provide the ARL Commission with a submission seeking an exemption in the coming weeks.
Fittler made his top-grade debut for Penrith when he was 17 and backed Suaalii to more than cope with being blooded at the same age more than 30 years down the track. The Roosters legend also made it clear Suaalii was at the best club when it came to being nurtured and unleashed at the right time.
