Hawthorn star Jack Gunston set to miss Round 1 after back surgery – Fox Sports
Hawthorn star Jack Gunston will have a delayed start to the 2021 season after undergoing back surgery on Wednesday afternoon.
Foxfooty.com.au can reveal the forward had a bulging disk that was causing him significant discomfort.
The Hawks medical department, in conjunction with a specialist, decided to place Gunston under the knife in the hope he will be fully fit after a few rounds of football next year.
