Hawthorn announce Ben McEvoy as new captain, intent on ‘making amends’ for ‘disappointing’ 2020 – Fox Sports
Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall has backed in the club’s decision to name Ben McEvoy as captain, with the 31-year-old taking over from the retired Ben Stratton.

McEvoy will be joined by current vice-captain Jaeger OMeara after a robust internal process facilitated by Leading Teams, while young midfielder James Worpel joins Liam Shiels, Jack Gunston and Tom Mitchell in rounding out the leadership group.
Speaking with the club website, the two-time premiership Hawk said his nomination was a huge honour.
