Hasbro announces major change to popular Mr Potato Head toy – 9Honey

Hasbro has announced one of their most popular toys will become gender neutral.
Mr Potato Head, which has been sold since 1952, will now drop the ‘Mr’ from it’s name.
Instead, the toy will be sold simply as ‘Potato Head’.
It is understood the change is to better reflect the current societal climate that has seen gender neutrality become a consideration when it comes to the design of everything from toys to clothing and even to how children are being raised.
