Harry and Meghan’s Africa tour the most expensive royal trip last year, financial report reveals – 9Honey

The British royal family has today released its annual financial statement for the Sovereign Grant, which funds the royals’ official duties and palace maintenance.
The report for the 2019-2020 year reveals taxpayer costs involved in royal activities, including official international tours.
Of these, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 10-day tour of southern Africa in October 2019 was the most expensive, costing £246,000 ($AUD444,000).
