Hardly anyone at the Gympie Terrace boat ramp this morning so took my time getting to the river mouth. Stopped at the Munna Point Bridge on the way and watched the baitfish, bird and pelagic activity in the Munna/Culgoa Point stretch before heading on. Filmed Mal Hunt crossing out on Granite Express and later, Nat Turner in Trekka 2. Bar a bit gnarly at times , especially on the south side of the channel, but no dramas if you timed it right. Overcast with a 7 to 10 knot easterly blowing. BOM forecast is for easterly winds about 10 knots. Sloppy and choppy in the bay. Bar crossing filmed between 6.15am and 6.55am which was roughly three hours after a 0.48m low tide. Background Music: ‘Light-Gazing’… by Andrew Langdon. www.fishingnoosa.com.au
