Netflix’s signature ‘ta-dum’ two second sound is instantly identifiable and works perfect for television. When it comes to films though, that minimalist approach comes off a little too abrupt – especially as every other studio’s logos run for about 8-20 seconds.
Now the company has hired veteran film composer Hans Zimmer (“The Dark Knight,” “Gladiator,” “Inception”) to come up with an extended and much larger scale version of that signature sound, making it a much more classic orchestral piece …
