GWS Giant Sam Reid BANNED for hit on Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe – PerthNow
The Match Review Panel has delivered its verdict on the Sam Reid bump in Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe.
Giant Sam Reid has been slapped with a two-game ban for his bump on an unsuspecting Nat Fyfe that left the Fremantle superstar concussed.
Fyfe will now miss the match with Carlton as part of the AFLs mandatory 12-day concussion protocol.
In its decision, the Match Review Panel found Reid engaged in rough conduct in the third quarter collision with Fyfe at Optus Stadium.
The collision was assessed as careless and both high impact and high contact.
