GWS captain sprays his own ‘hopeless’ side as they hit historic low – Fox Sports
Greater Western Sydney captain Stephen Coniglio has lashed his team’s opening half against Sydney, labelling it as “hopeless”.
The Giants score of 1.3 (9) was their lowest halftime score since their first season in the AFL, with the Swans taking a lead by 23-points at the main break.
AFL great Jason Dunstall suggested the Giants were rudderless during the opening term, with Coniglios alarming comments coming ahead of the halftime chatter.
