Greater Brisbane’s COVID lockdown – what you can and can’t do this weekend
Greater Brisbane residents are being urged to view the three-day COVID-19 lockdown as a “as a long weekend at home”, as put by Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath.
People in Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and Moreton Bay will be placed under the strict restrictions from 6pm on Friday, January 8 to 6pm on Monday, January 11.
The lockdown means people can only leave their home for essential reasons. That includes:
