The skies above WA will play host to a once-in-a-lifetime lunar event this month, expected to bring hoards of stargazers to the States beauty spots.
Jupiter and Saturn will appear in what is known as a Great Conjunction on December 21 being at the same ascension or celestial longitude.
Providing the clouds clear, the phenomenon will make the two planets appear as a single bright star for up to two hours.
