Government launches Comcare probe into Cleanaway – The Australian Financial Review
Cleanaway board says a 25 per cent cut in CEO Vik Bansal’s bonus was due to his behaviour just days after he forcefully denied there was a link, saying “No, no, no, no, no, no, not at all.”

“My forgoing was because of the COVID the challenges which the company faced because of COVID and that’s what it was,” he said.
The Financial Review can reveal Comcare, which administers the Work Health and Safety Act, has opened a new probe into the company, which is Australia’s largest waste management group, after last week’s revelations Mr Bansal had been probed by the company over a lengthy whistleblower complaint in May that alleged h had led a “culture of bullying and harassment”.
