Gould officially applies to become NRL player manager – Sydney Morning Herald
The rugby league legend and son Jack are listed as the only two directors of a company he set up earlier this year before a tilt at becoming an agent.
Gould and other applicants will have to undergo an orientation day and take an exam, and then sit for an interview with RLPA/NRL agent accreditation board on September 1.
As a former Panthers general manager, Gould has had plenty of experience dealing with agents in his stint at the foot of the mountains, where he shaped the nucleus of the Penrith roster that has charged to the top of the table of under Ivan Cleary’s watch this season.
