Google’s Trusted Contact Service is going to be discontinued from December 2020 – Digital Information World
This is pretty upsetting news, but Google has integrated most of the functionality of this service into Google Maps now.

Google launched its ‘Trusted Contact Service’ in 2016, and it was taken very positively by most people. It let the users share their location with their trusted contact if they felt unsafe in a situation, or wanted someone to watch out for them, allowed parents to find their kids in an emergency situation, or any friend or family member.
