This isn’t a hasty decision which was announced just suddenly, but software engineers at Microsoft are working on this for about a year.

Google has been an advocate for Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and using it in all of its desktop applications like Google photos, Google Maps and Google Contacts for a while now but Microsoft Engineers at Windows in collaboration with Google Chrome have recently made an effort to change the Chrome in Windows and modify it so that it is able to work like a native app in one aspect that is: uninstalling the applications.Sorry!
