Google Brings Back a Google Maps Feature That Everybody Loved – autoevolution
Google announced several new features for Google Maps earlier this week, but as it turns out, there’s more coming to the world’s number one navigation app.

At least on Android, that is, as the Mountain View-based search giant has decided to bring back one of the Google Maps features that it removed a few years ago and which people have been insisting on getting back ever since.It’s the compass, a tool that was originally available in Google Maps but which eventually got removed by the parent company back in 2019. The whole thing, however, happened only on Android, as iPhone users continued to be provided with a compass.
