The NRL will probe an after-the-siren play from Parramatta’s cult hero which could have given Canterbury a chance to send the game into golden point.

Referee Chris Sutton consulted sideline official Belinda Sharpe after the play, but both were not in the proximity of Sivo given the ball had been kicked downfield. Sutton then called an end to the game.
A penalty would have given Canterbury young gun Jake Averillo an improbable attempt to level the scores after the Bulldogs fought back from 18-0 down in the first half to push the premiership heavyweights.
