Gold Coast news: Search for man missing in canal after failing to resurface

A search is underway for a man who went into a Gold Coast canal in the early hours of the morning.

It’s understood the man was with a group of friends when he entered the water about 5.30am on Tuesday.

His failure to resurface has sparked a search involving police divers.
